Amit Sana was my favourite on that show. Hated the 3rd runner up, the one who married Disha Parmar.

Never knew that was Tammanah in that video.

I loved his other song from that Sony contract, it introduced me to Amit Trivedi.

Indian Idol 2 - Monali Thakur should have won

Indian idol 3 - Amit Paul or Deepali should have won

Amit,Aditi and Prajakta were all good but even I was supporting Abhijeet I remember.(us time kahan itni samaj thi who is a better singer..too young I was).And it was more becoz he had a very sweet aura.He won becoz of that only otherwise I feel Sana was def a better singer.Aditi was unlucky that she had to leave Bcoz of some health issues.

Prajakta was better IMO but too much resemblance with Shreya, I loved her Dankila. SLB was an avid viewer of the show and stuck to his word, even if it took him 9 years. Abhijeet just snuck in, even though Amit Tandon and Rahul Vaidya's journey was full of drama.

S2, I was rooting for Karunya, Amey Date, Antara Mitra and Monali. Monali has a distinct voice, normally all high pitched voices meld into 1. Not that it matters who won as Neha Kakkar has more followers than any BW actor. The end of that show was shyte, I remember Sonu throwing his toys out of the pram over the audience's choice.

S3 was my last of watching it religiously, Javed Akhtar ruined the show, everyone including the contestants lost it, Deepali had too much attitude..
