Mr Walia was shown to be fully aware of Pias intentions, she created extreme situations and blackmailed him into hurting his wife. But he did not claim to be ultra sharp businessman and play dumb.

Yeah it is gross to see sisters fight over husbands but I think they made Bani blame Jay Walia and Pia for an affair after Pias pregnancy, when in reality he got assaulted.

Haan this sister running away from mandap and business man marrying another sister for izzat creativity was started by Ekta only Then sister wants rich guy back and runs after him.

Literally every itv trope, be it utter regressive crap or showing chemistry without any physical contact or was invented by Ekta.

Thing is Ekta has done 60000 kinds of nonsense while this ph forces bhabi versus biwi for every show , whether it makes sense or not. Like suddenly the dumbest character in show is outsmarting everyone because they have a weird fetish.

Ekta showed mom killing her son for forcing himself on daughter in law, same time she showed a guy forcing himself on a woman and getting away with a sorry the next day. Mind you with same cast.

Ganja waalon ka ek hi topic, ml ko kuchh samajh nahi aata chahe bhabi din ko raat hi bolde woh maan lega, bhabi bekaar main ml ke peeche bhaagti, biwi bhi bekaar main innki harkaton ko sehti.

I don't remember all the nitty gritty details because it was long time back. And I was very young too then (an age where I shouldn't have been watching all these stuffs tbh 🙈) and didn't understand half of the things I watched 🤭 My current opinion is what I think of it, when I look back at it with my current mindset & moral stance. If I remember correctly, I think, Mr. Walia at that point was super upset with Bani because she went through miscarriage after an accident and he thought she had aborted the baby. And he was drinking. I think they had meant to show it as him being drunk and Pia provoking him into it. They added the drink spike thing later on to come up with a valid excuse for him. But yeah! I would still rank Mr. Walia wayyyyy higher than Angad because he had genuine reasons to be upset with Bani & they were almost divorced at that point. And after that he went through horrible guilt phase & was always scared what would happen if Bani finds out. Whereas Angad, even if in his full sense, somehow end up sleeping with Seerat, he would confidently accuse Sahiba for being the egoistic bitch and doubting his dudh ka dhula character while defending the woman who actually dragged him into it. 🤦🏻

P.S. - I don't think I understood your other references. Probably I didn't watch those. 😅

I mean writers came up with a believable excuse to whitewash the male lead, they knew usse kuchh samajh nahi aata will not fly. But haan, kaafi purani show hai toh ab yaad nahi kya dikhaya.

Yes definitely! That was Balaji Telefilms. They built an empire in the tv industry. Aise hi thodi hua hai 😅 Had they shown Male Lead ko kuch samajh nahi aata, they would have been done & dusted by now, which I hope, is the ultimate fate of this PH. 😑

Even after the exhibition confrontation where Sahiba clearly spells out to him how she feels about him and Seerat, if he's still seen allowing her to be near him and touch him then he's exceedingly shameless. Aise ghatiya insaan ko Sahiba kyun Pyaar karti hai? Why is she running to see if he's ok.... he doesn't deserve it. I want rumi to really do antim sanskaar of this guy. Bhaad mein jaaye Angad.
