Precaution before WC okay thats good then.

Bangladesh were in a good position at the end of the first powerplay scoring 54 runs and for the loss of just one wicket. But Ish Sodhi's three-fer has now put them in a spot of bother.

I am surprised there is a thread for this match smiley36

Though this series is mainly to practice b4 wc it is crucial for BD as they will get 2-3 players for the 15 men squad for wc as some they are not sure who to choose.

Glad to see Tamim Iqbal back after long time and back to business straight away, doing good so far

But as always BD’s batting is alarming, biggest problem none of the other openers are in form including Litton Das.

Vaise Soni Dii did you know there was drama about mankad in this match smiley36

18.5 Ish Sodhi to Tamim, out Caught by Blundell!! Tamim c Blundell b Ish Sodhi 44(58) [4s-7]

Ish Sodhi to Tamim, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

DRS! 95.3kph, Tamim gets down to sweep and New Zealand are appealing for a catch down the leg-side. Turned down by umpire Marais Erasmus and NZ review. However, Tamim is walking off the field.

However, Tamim is walking off the field. Looks like the TV umpire won't be disturbed. No review. Flatter and quicker on a length and just down leg, Tamim got down low to play the sweep shot and the ball brushed the glove of the batter. Blundell moved to his right, pouched it and was sure that Tamim was a goner. Little bit of extra bounce and that did the trick. Wicket number for four for Ish Sodhi! Hasan Mahmud mankad Sodhi at first. Sodhi was given out too. But then captain Litton Das called him back and withdrawn the out. Sodhi ended up adding 20 more crucial runs.
