💯 agree with your character dissection!! You’re bang on- Angad’s character is nonsensical!!

He's just an entitled rich brat who does know how to do business ig but otherwise has no life skills. His upbringing has been in a conservative family full of hypocrites and classist people who think highly of themselves but have no morals and no concept of growth mindset. So he has a superiority complex, thinks of himself as very righteous/sacrificing/family loving/dutiful but in reality he's just a self absorbed prick who seeks validation and ego boosting. Everything he does is to build an image of a good guy. Deep within he's probably not a complete jerk and he does know right from wrong but he has got so many years of conditioning and privilege that any actual goodness just lays buried and an arrogant male chauvinistic prick with anger issues, mommy and daddy issues is what he comes across as. A big incident like someone being in mortal peril or losing livelihood can make him do something good, right but otherwise if it's not a life or death situation he will just keep his ego first. All his gestures of care/concern also seem to come from a place of image building. And he likes attention - whether Seerat or Sahiba. Sahiba challenges him, forces him to think, opposed him so he likes that takkar and he wants her to be in his control. He feels possessive because she's his wife in front of the world. With Seerat he just likes the fact that the woman who once rejected him cruelly and for no good reason other than her selfishness is now fawning over him. It helps that shes supposedly "sexy". So he's enjoying that attention. But he's in denial because he knows its wrong to encourage an EMA seeking woman while being married but he doesn't wanna lose that attention. He enjoys it. But admitting it means he will lose face and he can't afford that.

I will be completely honest, I had always connected to Angad’s character more & got the most disappointed by him.

When we thought makers would make him stay away from seerat, the opposite happened.

The way he threw the food plate & told her he would never share his sorrows with her. 💣

God knows what happened after than, writers have amnesia as Angad did the opposite…

More than MU getting cleared , I just want that delusional to be thrown out of the mansion but jaaegi nai, Manbeer Mamiji bachalegi…..

angad is not even consistent with his own character. if he is short tempered and doesnt trust easily, why is that not seen with Seerat. why would any guy forgive and forget the woman who ditched him at the altar and inflicted so much embarrassment on him and his family and allow her to manipulate him.

makers have made him into a two timer.

they can salvage the plot if they at the very least he stays away from Seerat and asks her to F off from his life. thats all audience wants. reunion with Sahiba toh baad ki baat hai. he already knows what Seerat is. theres nothing to expose really. but if he still condones her sins and thinks she is harmless then he is a fool.

the makers made same mistake in ghum. They screwed up not by showing ML and FL separate but by making ML forget his boundaries with the vamp. thodi toh integrity, self respect or consistency honi chahiye.
