Why good faces bad story

Why in all shows they take beautiful n smart faces that we can connect with n start watching but tracks r so bad that we have to cringe n ultimately leave watching n regret started watching.Tv shows actors anytime better than nepo kids these days but why such poor storyline everywhere.

The show ends n leads die in show but we never get to see what we want to see🙈 why can't they finite the series n give good tracks with multiple seasons like in foreign shows.

The writing is definitely different. The writers somewhat care about what the audience thinks. The formula is different. The leads do not always have to be a couple. The writers change each episode on some shows or there are multiple writers. The writing is usually solid.
