I don't judge their acting on most days because Many of us don't give our best daily in day jobs, unlike film actors who get breaks and have more freedom in characters they play.

Nowadays they shoot daily, earlier they had breaks but now show airs daily.

I appreciate Tmd cast for actually doing really well, when you see how a seasoned actor like Neil Bhatt faltered you realize how good Vj actually is , that he does so many intense scenes daily with long dialogues and executes it well each time. He does seem really passionate about the craft because it can get monotonous and so many experienced actors on tv just don't bother after certain number of episodes because the characters they play are very uninspiring and have no real depth.

Also Vj seems adept at playing all kinds of roles, also helps that he is so easy on the eyes.

I have seen mostly good actors like Jennifer Winget also overdo it many times.

Anyways acting in tv is a tough industry, no stable source of income, no real breaks to prepare for character, overnight scripts are written, not much choice with next show unless you are a Divyanka Tripathi or something.

Aajkal every alternate week tmd ormax list mein aata hain, n uss week trp 1.5/1.6 hoti hain. Dekhna next week iss list se nikal jayegi.

Except VJ , other actors does not get offers. All are new. Roopam is not liking the character definetely but being new to the industry and not having many offers so bound to act for this crappy script. For VJ , it’s a totally different one. Thankfully they didn't try to pass off abusers as flawed characters with correct intentions, showed him as the antagonist. I was scared fl will end up with a redeemed version of a clearly shit male character. But the ending was satisfying.

I like how him and Vidhi did not end up together in both shows,

Ssp gives good shades most of the time, Diya Baati and Dhruv Tara have flawed but good male leads.

Now Gul, Ekta, Vankar try to claim domestic abuse and violating modesty of women due to misunderstanding is a flaw.

But thats my point. How can they as creative people go to set every day to be part of something so shoddy and below average. Why do they pressurize themselves to put out daily 17 mins of nonsense instead of taking time to do something good. Many shows in West come only once a week. People wait to watch the episode.

I'm sure audience would rather see 100 good episodes and show ending rather than 1000 episodes of crap.

We don't have a choice as audience but they are the content creators. Whats their excuse to write such uninspired crap. And the continuity errors are also glaring. Its like no one really cares.

They spend anywhere from 12-18 hours on set, work day/night, and the end result is so unattractive.

How are they happy?!

Why arent actors internally rebelling a little to demand better stories.

Surely just money cant be reason enough to go every day and do something so substandard.

Its one thing to say ok we all dont go and do stellar work everyday in our professions but we also dont go everyday and do only shoddy work.

Also cant really compare a desk job that many of us have vs a creative profession like acting.

The whole point of their job is that its not supposed to be monotonous. Why would they as an actor wanna play one terrible character for 1000 episodes without caring instead of 10 characters in 100 episode series.

100 episodes is enough to give a good tight plot.

Also their "good days" on the show are so far in between that its non existent. Most days are bad days.

I cant remember an episode as audience that I enjoyed enough to watch it without fast forwarding!

Also its not like fixed episode series are necessarily better unless the writing is better. Balh3 was pretty terrible! It was quite disappointing. The writing was so bad.

Actors seem to be in a position to deman better scripts. But they don't seem to care too much.

Tv content wasn't always bad. There are shows from my parents days which were very good. And not all comedy, there were "drama" shows that were good. But since the 2000s its been stuck in a rut.
