Say what???? I had a cogent coherent post with proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation without any abbreviations, jargon, or slang.

I don't know if the bar for comprehension on this forum is high or rock bottom. smiley36

But these one or two lines I can clarify about myself.. I believe that there are many things which humans can't control, I don't think having this belief is lack of faith in one selves and other humans..I think its called self awareness... like Humans can't stop aging(aging of cells in human body) ,can't stop Human death(we can delay the death but can't stop it forever), can't stop time, can't escape from laws of physics (atleast on the Earth) or laws of universe(atleast in our galaxy) and there are many many other things which are beyond the control of human. In that case some of us when they become helpless or hopeless try to stick to or want to believe that there is some supernatural force and want it to make some miracles happen in their hopeless or helpless situation.

So what you're saying is you like to believe that a supernatural force will cheat reality for your sake?

For me, it is more like, yes, there are some things that I cannot control. But I do not need to control everything. I am but a speck of stardust. I came from start dust, and I will become stardust.

What I do know and have control of is my life on earth. I'd rather invest in people and the world around me. If I am ever in a hopeless situation, I the world I build for myself and the people in my life will be the difference. I'd rather not hold my breath for a supernatural force that may or may not exist or cheat reality for me. Honestly, if there is a supernatural force, I'm sure it has more important things to do than my petty hopelessness.

But I digress. And it harm done, do as thou wilt.

I expressed my beliefs because I was asked. It is not my intent to make anyone change their views or beliefs. Everyone knows what's right for them. As long as it doesn't cause harm.

LOL I clearly mentioned in my post that I have not been well rested and need more free time to understand it better.. Its nothing to do with your Grammer, spelling etc... Your English is absolutely fine. I really don't know what is the difference between Athiest and Nontheist and I really don't know what is agnostic either, I need to google the words "Nontheist" and "Agnostic" to understand the post better. It's everything about my low energy levels today to be able to understand the post which is related to topic which has more depth ie., existence or belief in god

Not just your post, it took me 2 weeks to read other one or two long essay comments of others which they quoted me.. There is a reason why I took so long to reply to them too, as I said I need more free time and energy levels to be able to read the topics which are long or which has more depth . Even I couldn't complete typing my long comment and abruptly ended it in the middle if you see in my previous page. This topic we are discussing is deep and I'm not ready for that today, that's it. I needed something light topic today to focus on, that's why I focused my energy on posting songs in other threads.

About rest of the post you wrote something questioning me about supernatural stuff i need to read it some other day, as I said I need more energy levels for any topic related to existence of God or supernatural stuff as it is the topic which has more depth. Once again I'm clarifying it's nothing to do with your Grammer or spellings!

Feel free to post your thoughts though.

For me these two shabd represent two facets of Sikhism - one which exhorts its followers to fight for the helpless and the other that talks about peace and inclusivity.

Didn't realize that Diwali has started as I 'm not hearing any crackers sounds around me or have not come across any Diyas.. Seems like it has already started based on all Diwali wishes in this forum.

As this is the only way I can celebrate Diwali let me celebrate it with few of my favourite ones here

They used to play this in Tirumala everywhere, such a serene and spiritual place it always used to be with all these chantings, looved to hear this whenever I go to Tirumala and it brings nostalgia of that holy place.
