No Mimi's husband died. And she loved him dearly and zamana was alag so she didn't remarry and decided to raise her sons by herself. In Gen 2 they spoke about her husband when Naira found their love letters in the store room.

Definitely. It was always more Abhi than Aarohi. But even during then, Ruhi's insecurities were pretty valid with or without the riling up done by Aarohi, which was later resolved in a pretty believable manner I would say.

Like I am not hailing Aarohi as a character but in my opinion, she has been a better mother than Akshara (up until now). That's all. :)

LOL I would still have to disagree with you on that point. No, Ruhi's insecurities were not valid cuz Abhi didn't neglect her.....she was shown overtly dependent on him at that point so she over-reacted to every perceived moment of Abhi not being at her beck and call 24/7....in fact at every point he was trying his best to juggle his responsibilities towards both kids. It was the Goenka sisters who accused him of neglecting each child by turn and kept telling him he should only stick to Ruhi......this very precious Arohi included who is now suddenly being hailed for her parenting simply cuz she's stopped wanting to latch on to Abhi?

So yeah sorry but I don't think there has been any believable arc. The scene wasn't even about parenting......it was just about getting done with the angle of whether Ruhi will have any issues with Abhira remarrying...

She literally did nothing other than outsourcing the parenting to Abhi half the time while constantly gaslighting him if he wasn't doing all his nanny duties for Ruhi......the woman who literally told Abhi to choose between his own son and the niece he has raised like a daughter.....lol yeah that woman will never be hailed by me.

And I don't see any point in comparing Goenka sisters as mothers....lol they have both been subpar as per the writing twists....even though writers keep trying to hail both of them as great mothers. But I don't feel the need to hail Arohi simply to put down Ak......Ak's issues and failings as a mother are different but Arohi has been no less. She's just a prop like Nav was.

Maybe Aaru doll has read all the SM comments against Akshu and is like mujhe iske against kuch krne ki need nahi hai. Yeh khud k liye enough hai

Sometimes it okay all parents use such words sometimes but she calls him that like his pet name. I personally don't like it. Maybe because Pranali looks too young and her using such words look wierd. It sounds made up from her mouth. I maybe wrong. But I cringe everytime I hear it from her mouth.

Today I skipped the episode so Aaru isn’t become goody goody anymore ? Will she finally turn back into the og Arohi Goenka who loves to plot and plan against her boring sis?

Akshara loves giving disciplined talks and bhaashans but never sits down with Abhir to listen to him to hear his side of the story..never is straightforward yet calm with him..Abhi always calmy sorts any worries Roohi or Abhir has!

True ..she never tries to understand where kid is coming from..what's going on with him..he has been facing things that will really unsettle even adults..and then too she doesn't try to understand his point of view

By that logic, everyone apart from Abhi has been a prop in this show, who are flipped according to the present conflict, that doesn't mean people shouldn't discuss them. And I don't think any of the posts have denied that Aarohi is a flawed character, maybe that's why its a welcome change for people to see her possible redemption. Now you may not view it that way, and that's completely okay but that doesn't mean other people shouldn't. Peace out.✌🏼
