Pranali is 2 decades younger than Harshad and also looks younger than average women in early 20s due to face shape, Karishma looks more mature.

In TMD VJ is 14 years older than Himanshi. But she looks more mature for her age, her height and face. And VJ looks much younger than his age. So it doesn’t look bad.

Yeah you don't see visible age gap between Himanshi and Vj so the pairing is good.

But tv treats actresses past 30 as fossils (except select few top actresses like Jen winget, Divyanka), I wonder how old Anshu is, she looks same age as Himanshi and all and is playing mother.

I remember 16 year old Prachi Desai was appearing board exams and auditioning to play female lead opposite Ram Kapoor who was 34 year old then, 2 decades back.

Cut to now, 17 year old Sumbul is cast opposite 36 year old Gashmeer in Imlie. And Ami who plays Harshads mom in Yrkkh is same age as Harshad, looks same age too but has to play mom.

I have felt otherwise. TV actresses past 30 looks very young compared to the examples you guys have given. As in look at Surbhi Chandna, That lady Asha(forgot the full name), Nia Sharma.. And Shrenu Parikh.. she's 33 it seems.. If you had told me she's 22 I'd believe it! Wtf! 33 year old look 22 , and 22 old years look older?! Or have I lost the ability to guess a person's age🥲

Yeah Seerat looks older(nothing bad about it). Gurleen looks younger. Actresses also lower age by 1/2 years on portfolio because shelf life is less for them, especially in tv and modelling industry.

Vj looks bit younger than most actors in his age range like Barun Nakuul.

He looks much younger than his age and she looks more older for her age so this pairing works. It’s her height and Himanshi is mature in real life too. VJ has said in interviews too she’s very mature has a lot of patience and is always ready with her lines even though it’s her first role in Hindi.

Actresses freeze age. They do a lot of treatments to ensure they look the same in 30s that they do in 20s (industry pressure and beauty standards) Nahi dikhenge toh out of work

Also bone structure matters, actress who played Gopi Bahu, Pranali all look like kids despite being mature. Actresses like Margot Robbie looked 30 when they were 18 because of sharp jawline(look 30 now too)

Himanshi has very little baby fat on face, sharp jawline, that ages her, Pranali has baby fat and looks younger than her age.
