Ditto about satyaprem ki katha..same to same.e I did like certain aspects but then it could.have been still way better had they not.gone the comedy way and wasted time in some.things..I really did like.katha's acceptance and confession to all straight up it sure does need guts..and Kiara ko aise roles suit karte hain ..but as I said earlier too and I guess you would agree that the cadualness at times really got🙄 and I found a Lil bit lack of sensivity with how they were just chatting in public and throwing the word rape so casually at times.. but I loved supriya and the way she empathized with Katha.. some of my fav scenes involve her in the film..and yeah I felt the songs just kept breaking the flow

Re: jubilee.. frankly I have kinda forgotten the details but the closing Sequence is what still etched in memory

LOL haan one of the weirdest bits was the detail with which they were discussing first base, second base, third base.....and that Sattu asking her to tell him what that means toh she's like go ask your friends and he's like I don't have any

Sattu ka characterization was like that ki woh baat direct bol deta hai and I guess that is what sort of builds into Katha's character also bluntly speaking out about her issues....and that made for surreal scenes like her telling her in-laws kind of in detail about her rape and all....I guess they wanted that shock effect to come through

Supriya Pathak's character really came through in the last half....shuru mein they made it seem like her character was kind of a shallow/nagging wife.....but baad mein the women showed different shades.

I feel the writer struggled with how to weave in the love story properly....but still not a bad job.

Yeah I have been 🙄🤨😏 like this at the start with the sister and mother Caz they couldn't give them a decent reasoning for that behavior I mean they went with the progressiveness ke jo kamaye ga that person gets to live the luxury woh role reversal felt too telly Caz it wasn't executed well and loud too I mean I get what they were trying to do with it but it didn't quite hit the note Caz they kept it so unclear too why they were treating their men like that.. but it is the 2nd half where she got to show the substance and they were justified.. and I personally just felt gajraj was bad in this film..he was very caricature but beech main latka hua character and was hamming too

Gul didi ko agar yeh sab samajh aata toh baat hi kya thi

It's hilarious to see them still trying to milk the gaaon wala atmosphere and lingo.....I guess Gul has limited options to work with.....Gen 2 nikaal liya without gaaon ki lingo toh ab back to Gen 1 template....

I saw one random clip on Twitter - girl is a decent actress and seems to be an established actor from Bengali TV shows....she has a good voice also. But yeh Sai whatever will do full gobar of this....he's still talking in his south indian accent while trying to play some North Indian character

Overall, watching this sasta reboot of early Gen 1 epis weirdly makes want to watch those early epis cuz kya class thi original Babusahib ki, man.....he wasn't hating on the village blindly for the heck of it like this guy with his wohi typical Gul hero traits of I hate this blindly blah blah

First thought that comes to mind is how BADLY KVB has aged......he looks basically like an ogre here

And yeah aaj kal ki fake feminism waali fangirls deserve this Viraj only cuz inko ek integrity waale Abhi ya Adi ki kabhi value nahin honi.....they deserve to enjoy actual abusers like this.
