Abhinav’s exit in a minor way - as someone stated here until Nav was alive, there is some sort of curiosity and anticipation as how the future track is going to be. All sections of people got connected to the show to watch how the story will move forward. Now after his death, it’s understood that story is going towards Abhira reunion.. now where is that grip holding element for the show where the people wait to watch the episodes.. and who will watch ML’s ddp all the time

So no one is liking the story or execution? 🤷‍♀️

It's disconnection squared with FL. I couldn't understand what prevented her from officiating her relationship earlier and why she copiously cries now after Nav is gone🤔😠

And I don’t mean this just for the jodis. The fact that they have tried to sail in two boats over Abhi’s rights as a father is a major reason for disconnect I feel. The kids are cute but diluting the organic Abhi-Abhir bond to prop up those people who deliberately denied Abhi his place in his son’s life. I don’t think that will ever connect with any audience. There is no penance waiting to justify how long the real father should be left as a peripheral figure in his son’s life while the son is made to say he is fatherless 🤷‍♀️

They just wanted to play mind games with all fandoms..be it the jodi fds or siding with Abhi and Akshara..the story got messed up due to this pendulum attitude of the makers..Abhimanyu gets blame for everything and is reminded of his mistakes everyday..but Akshara walks around care free as everybody conveniently forgets her mistakes and if anyone reminds her of them she immediately gives them lectures scaring them away…

Good point ....if Abhinav's exit had to have an impact, why is it waiting for two weeks after his death to have impact? .....the TRPs remained the same for his endlessly long and maha boring death week....same TRP for the next week when people were still busy mourning him, doing anniversary celebrations in his memory, showing his FBs relentlessly

So I don't see how Nav's exit is a factor in this. Last week also they showed plenty of Nav references with Abhir putting on his sock, Ak talking to his photo multiple times along with Abhir, Abhir still doing award dedications to him.

If anything, it is tiresome to see mentions of Nav being dragged on still and that is likely what may be pulling down TRPs.....he is a dead weight on the narrative as well as Ak's life.

Most of us our clearly unhappy with the story/execution, and whatever was shown so far in last 8-9 months cannot be undone. So according to you what would fix the story?

What I want is -

1. break off Abhimanyu-Arohi engagement(neither seems in love with the other). It would be best to bring in a love interest for Arohi.

2. i would much rather prefer a confrontation between the leads than have all these senseless parallel tracks. Both talking it out like mature adults and understanding each other- why they behaved the way they did on WD and later! I enjoyed the temple confrontation and also the one in rain - those were nice.

3. if Abhira is to be shown or even if they only coparent, both need to become friends first and slowly show their trust issues, disappointments with each other being resolved. show them becoming responsible and handling family issues together.

4. Show more festivals and happy times.

Yes, this endless guilt-tripping of the ML and an FL who only holds grudges against him even when he apologizes sincerely many times.....it's pretty stagnant and boring to watch. Makers have not been able to balance Ak as a character this whole leap....Nav was only a buffer for the main problem which is Ak's poor attitude as a person.

A person carrying endless grudges over only one person for this long....lol that too the FL of an ITV show who is generally expected to be kind-hearted and gracious....lol who will connect to this then?
