There is a downfall for all the shows but Anupamaa n ghum r steady.

But yeah history of yeh rishta for the time 1.6 trp also a star plus rajan show 1.2 at 9pm.

A show which didn’t even create any buzz was forcibly fed to the audience when all were comfortable with Faltu.

I have spoken many theories for off air and given own reasons to console my own self but If u ask me it still hurts badly when I think of Faltu being taken off brutally.

Just to satisfy a big producer nothing else.

I said it earlier when they off-aired Faltu show, again saying it, Starplus have to pay for it and now they are paying it.

Mishbir ji , I assume Faltu was considered a filler show and the channel would have replaced it for Sahi.. What they did not expect is Faltu being a success and Fayaan being hit jodi with amazing chemistry... On top of it, they underestimated the Faltu fanbase.

They assumed the audience of 2023 would be same as 1990..

It is a content-driven audience. I am not criticizing the audience of 1990. They never had any choice, same with the audience of 2000's and 2010's as well. Social media and OTT platforms became popular from 2015.. Audiences have greater exposure to content and will not watch if the show s pathetic. No Sahi or Gul Khan or Ekta can force them to watch a show!! Same with movies as well. We have seen how big movies flop and content-driven movies with actors (not superstars and megastars) being successful..

SO, DO NOT CHALLENGE THE AUDIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!

As u said that, they can't force people to like anything. And I agree 100% they never ever thought Faltu would be big hit and Fayaan would gain so much popularity. This popularity is purely organic and we can see the result in numbers. People by heart loved the show.

No social media trend could have given Starplus this much insult or pressure, which they are facing right now. By the way, I am talking about money. At the end of the day it's a business right?

Exactly..I am sure the new show would not havd given them half of Faltu's earnings...

Exactly ji, it was considered like filler only, star has NEVER given 9pm slot to a show like Faltu with new production or lesser known cast.

Sahi show was on pipeline from last year, till then they thought Faltu will not make big noise can off air aramse after 6 months. Faltu success against powerful kumkum bhagya was definitely not expected by star that also with such high trp.

Now this debacle was definitely not expected by Star or Sahi. Even ppl who don't watch Faltu felt sad for show and requested not to do this injustice.

From 9 -10.30 pm who wants to watch a same huge family drama seriously Star was so dumb they did not even realise how monotonous it ws for audience.

Faltu worked well without single promotion coz it was refreshing /new jodi/new cast/no OTT drama so it broke the monotonous pattern of people watching a show of 15yrs rishta & 3yrs maa with same cast.

9pm show looked soooo dull & boring by the outlook & promo itself. Star failed to realise and did not take proper decision in those given 3 week extension.

Mohit Malik show kulfi worked due to its child actor & concept nothing worked for him after. I cannot tolerate that female lead even on my insta ( not coz of Faltu issue but for her acting skills).

Now Sahi will start playing his cards by grand wali shaadi track ( I won't be surprised even if he goes to foreign destination).
