The lack of subtitles is a thing that kinda holds Marathi serials back.

I wanted to watch Thipkyanchi Rangoli (Marathi KKIS; I thought the pairing was ) and watched a bit on Hotstar too, only to find that there were no subtitles

For someone who has decent to moderate understanding of the language, but not perfect/native like understanding, and wants to gradually improve, it's a bit of a disappointment.
