If she wants to taunt her mom that badly then fine , but why use Nagars as an example? Before this 75th crap she used to be a neutral person who enjoys popcorn drama , ever since the 75th aniversary she has been waaaay too agressive towards the nagars and even Bhumi is keeping quiet for some reason (Shubbadra is nothing if she has the guts to yell at DB ) she's annoying these days i don't like her anymore

The problem is they themselves don't know how to show this Kartik switching side, according to them it was some great twist.

Now that's their promo and they don't know how to show that they can't show Yuvika wrong, they can't show Kartik an out an out villian, so they are slowly making red flag and that is just making his character a caricature (or meme as you said)

I want real DJK but even if that's not their plan then make Kartik switch na, why are they taking so much time for it?? And if they want it to be slow keep that as a small part of episode while other things happening

Here to it's only DJ manipulating him and he frowning, story wise there is no improvement, even this huge fire didn't actually add much to story (unless Rathi does something)

That too me was funny. DB knew he was Neil. Made clear by his statement that bahut din baad dekh kar achchha laga. Bhoomi thought he just knew the name but not face.
