Ali & his family must be a very close alai that Jodha parents accepted the alliance immediately without any second thoughts

@bold, Spontaneous proposals from relatives and "spontaneous accepting of such proposals" are very common in India. Though these days it doesn't happen too much but still in rural areas it is common. If the parents like the boy/girl they agree to it. Later they let the bride-groom meet one day for knowing eachother. Earlier arrange marriages were very common. The child didn't had any choices or relationships so he/she had to agree to their parents choice. Now a days this type of tradition is very rare in India but earlier it was casual.

Yes, though the inter-religion marriage concept (that too so fast) here is different and that's why I wrote in the note to ignore such things. Can't change Jalal's religion here. It will be funny and weird then.
