This segment riled me up.
Katha having another baby is altogether a different thing. Straightaway refusing to have a baby might be an impulsive statement, but as of now, she might not have thought about all of it. Recall the conversation, when Viaan stayed over. She told someone who plans everything doesn't know what she has to do about her relationship with Viaan.
Additionally, they need to get married first. What has ITV come to, too modern mother-in-laws discussing their son and daughter-in-law's upcoming family life before marriage.
They shall have a baby of their own but with time. They should know more about each other as a partner and parent before reaching there. Also living together brings so many layers of your partner, which you would rarely explore when in courtship.
Besides this, there is a child involved here “Aarav”. He might or might not be ready to welcome a sibling. He easily accepted Viaan, because it was his “Robin”. After marriage, there would be things that Aarav has to adapt. About Katha and Viaan - there is a long way for them to get comfortable intimately, especially Katha. She might not be comfortable, she may not have any grudge against Viaan but she might get uncomfortable with memories. Why only Katha, even Viaan might not be too comfortable, based on his behaviour at the hotel at the Architecture conference in Alibaug.
All three Katha, Aarav, and Viaan have a long way to go before they reach here.

What is not clear is how they plan on Viaan finding out about his mom's manipulations. Since this is a Kathacentric track, Teji disclosure may be pushed back for long

Whatever has been spoiled till now are all valid questions which needs to be raised.
The conflicts are valid and very instructive in case of such widow remarriages.
I mean, its valid that Viaan should also experience fatherhood from start. And, as Teji, that would be my first concern. I remember after paath at her house (around episode 96), she explained to Viaan how both of them are at different stages of life and any such relationship which Viaan gets into should be a fresh start for him. I mean the conflicts are still natural didn't require Maya di. These questions are really obvious and conflict is bound to happen.

Despite the introduction of new antagonist, this new track seems promising because there is actually something new.
However, what I don't hope is that Katha immediately agree to have a child. She should answer, she will need more time to think about it and Viaan stand with her saying it is their private matters and they will resolve it when time comes.

In last episode, the camera zoom on Mr. Grewal on knowing that Teji told everything about Kaviaan to Maya di tells something. Maybe he is also going to have some role.
