Honestly male friendships are underrated but 70% strength a male gets from his male friendships be it from a friendly bond with father, brother, brother in law or batchmates, colleagues.

DJ is actually very lonely in his life. His family did wrong with him. He couldn't marry the girl of his choice. No one taught him how to love, how to carry relationships...

Kartik may be egoistic red flag but he is not a bad guy.

Thankyou dear. Yes I love male friendships, I don't know why ITV escapes from showing that, I guess due to same fear of being labeled as soft gay.. Indian males do have such relation that even handholding isn't with some other sense.

Yes both DJ and Kartik have all the things to become friends if they want, they aere genuinely pretty alone and don't have many to share their feelings. With their flaws they are perfect for each other (as friends)

I dislike both Karna and Duryodhan yet their friendship is something I always admire (despite some red flags into it, those red flags only make their relation more humane than bookish), hope they show something similar here
