Agreed, but then why was Abhim hailed whenever TRP was high, lol, that should have also been called out as wrong reasoning too in that case😆?
I agree it is mostly the story that matters to hype TRP. At the same time I won’t devalue Abhinav, Ak, Abhim or other major characters for not supporting the TRP at all. Each character has its own contribution to the story, but the TRP would be a collective effort of multiple story arcs around different characters and the overall execution. Abhin was a major character, maybe not for all😆, but at least for some. I have heard claims here on the forum that people would stop watching if Abhim’s character ends. So if that is possible, same can happen with Abhin’s character as well. So the tanking TRP can be because of the reason that Abhin died. But the difference is that maybe that decline may not sustain and despite the fall, if the story arc is a bit stronger in future they might be able to revive the TRPs. (Not at all saying here that any character was responsible for high TRP so far, just that death is a major event and Abhinav was a major character, so his death could have caused a short term impact)
There is a long term effect vs short term effect. Poor storytelling will lead to the long term loss in TRP, and major character deaths or arcs like legacy kid marriages, etc lead to short term effect on TRP. I don’t think they can revive the story using football matches, etc🤣. It would have been better if they had started things from scratch instead. In s2 I really liked the Naira going to Mumbai arc, they should have started afresh like that but, I don’t think they can take another leap now. It will just mess up each character’s age even further.
