It’s all a huge joke characters like Padhik keep flipping like pancakes dekhna once Adhik becomes an Accha Pati after his whitewashing session Makhi will be the bad one again.

Let me break it down:

Adhik wooed n married Pakhi

Adhik played the acha baccha n best jamai role while Pakhi was the brat, convincing the whole Shahs n Kapadias of his honesty n loyalties.

the self respect drama that he'll be independent...👍🏼

Then moving back to Kapadias.

Slowly getting a foot hold in the Empire, n messing up. (Unplanned)

Now Anuj returned back n sniffed their fraud, so Plan B.

Use violence against Pakhi, n then woo her again.

Win her over. Turn her against all. N be a victim.

Now whenever Pakhi will make demands for Adhik, Anuj/Anupamaa/ even the Shahs will have to bow down to her.

If not, Pakhi will rebel, n turn against them.

"You are all punishing Adhik. N ruining my happiness. You can't tolerate my happiness. Blah blah blah"

This will make Pakhi slowly demand more n more for Adhik...a job post, oroject work, promotion, signing power n even ownership....

N winner will be team Barkha.

If the show had ever bothered to follow it's actual premise they would actually have something to show rather than making the characters flip personalities constantly and repeating same tracks over and over again just to keep the show running.

But what else do they have worth showcasing? Anupama hasn't managed to pursue one career properly. Neither has she cut ties with Shahs and focused on her second marriage. Neither is she bothered with being a proper mother to CA. So what else is there, other than picking a random social issue, then drawing chits to pick characters who will be used for the storyline and have Anupama give long lectures each episode, make it all about herself and cry and weep about how life is unfair to her.

It's just: get up, rinse and repeat at this point. I hope TRP continues to fall and that the show goes off air.

The partiality towards Shahs is what ruins this show. I am with Anupama on this matter, no woman should be subject to DV. It is still difficult to support Anupama though precisely because of what you have written. She was much milder for Pakhi when Adhik was falsely being accused of DV.

The show is about the journey of Anupamaa. And they have shown her journey.... as the loyal and supportive life partner, of a man constantly seeking redemption 😳

Toxic love story of Paadhik is yet another issue mocked where Sooraj gives bhashan, cries and follows her daily routine but ultimately Vanar whitewashing is done though subtly and discreetly now instead of explicitly where the track is centered around him.

Sweetudi was badtameez... It wasn't violence... It was solved the minute they laid down on the road staring at the empty sky... But this Adhik guy being a Mehta and not a Shah isn't willing to lie on the road with Maa... He is busy gossiping with his sister... so what he does is violence... Maa has said it and that's what it is... no further arguments.
