Yes, these are not my words. Makers themselves made Akshara say these things in the show! I am referring to the one on Hotstar.

Mein Abhir ki maa baad mein bani and Abhinav uske papa pehle ban gaye. She was lying unconscious and weak when Abhinav took care of her own child.

I agree that it didn't make any sense for MG to not know the truth but well, can't do anything.

Baki what lies? Truth is that only blood relations aren't basis of fatherhood! I know this in the show they will say this but honestly, Abhinav was Abhir's only father till Abhimanyu came along to destroy happy family. It's as simple as that.

In the hotstar show I am watching, this is untrue.

At this point in timeline, Abhir disagrees that Abhimanyu is his papa, infact he was ready to call both men papa till in Kasauli but now he is more and more sure that Manyu is docman. He only believes Abhinav is his papa. Unfortunately Ruhi believes Abhimanyu is his papa, but Abhimanyu doesn't care. That's the difference between nice man like Abhinav and Manyu.

Her words aren't just for fun. She may repeat her words for both husbands, I don't care but it seems that she really loved Abhinav. Her life was peaceful, including those six years but yes she lived in a fear of past ruining it and that's exactly exactly what Abhimanyu and his mom did... Ruined her happy life! You are free to disagree. However, show has time and again showed Akshara as grown person who now knows how to live with love, pyaar nibhana she has learnt from Abhinav. Respecting oneself comes when other person respects you which Abhimanyu never did.

Abhir doesn't know the truth yet but oh well, he will soon.

As I said, Abhir is only legacy child in whole Rishta verse who had decent and best initial years of life with BOTH parents. He had Papa and he had Mumma, unlike Kairav and Naksh ke first five years.

Also, family is not an object to be earned or gained for free. More than not, people consent to come together and make a family.

Secondly, Abhinav was selflessly looking after a pregnant Akshara even when she hadn't proposed marriage to him. He was looking after a pregnant woman selflessly even when her husband had divorced her without getting a standard medical procedure of cleaning the womb after a miscarriage administered on her. That is the writing of the show. He loved her without any imposition after marriage, he transferred his immobile property to her, he was willing to let her go if ever wanted to go back to her ex. He never interfered or restricted her interaction with her ex. He was truly selfless. That is in the writing of the show

Thirdly, how can Akshara owe anything to someone who is dead? This is a false equivalency, that no one is drawing. I am just talking about the ennui from a storytelling perspective that can be resolved by showing Abhimanyu selflessly looking after Akshnav's kid like Abhinav did.

But like I said, Akshara can do whatever she wants and my interest in the show is done so I will not break my head over what the writing team does.

P.S : I am not mocking/bashing/gatekeeping/moral policing any character, actor, member or fandom

I am purely talking of the writing of the show

I'm loving the newfound enthusiasm for a woman's free agency (which was termed vengeance & an inappropriate narrative for 21st century during the time Abhinav existed)

Now everyone's for Akshara moving on with whoever she wants bcos that whoever has been confirmed

Abhir himself does not consider Abhimanyu as his father. To him, ABhimanyu is still Docman. Up until now Abhinav is Papa and Abhimanyu is Docman

I am not saying anything on my own here. I'm just reiterating whatever has been told in this thread about Akshara moving on 6 yrs back and now!!!

I guess none in the forum had issue with Akshara moving on!! The way she moved on was the problem.

She as a divorcee had all the rights to do what she wanted!!! But first she chose abhinav to be abhir's father, when abhi the real father is still alive. She could be challenged him, fought for her baby and then given the right to abhinav!! That would be fair!!!

Also, after divorce, abhi didn't have any right on Akshara, then why most of the people in the forum are blaming abhi that he didn't go looking for her, he didn't care about her!!! Did she care about him or his family after divorce?? No right??

Abhinav was unsecured throughout after the first UD trip!!!! This was shown in the episodes as well!!! Not only regarding Akshara, but even with regards to abhir!! If he was that selfless and giving person!!! He wouldn't need validation every now and then from his wife and son!!!

Since you have mentioned that you are least interested in the show now!! I will not discuss about the present situation!!!

Truth is for any two people, even roomates for that matter, there has to be a adjustment points yahan toh Abhinav gave all his love and life to Abhir without any expectation.
