I have seen mosque marriage where bride even isn't present, father completes process including 3 times Qubool, signature. May be against Islam but tradition going on.

I currently live in US but I am from Bangladesh. Trust me even University topper or PhD holder can't be saved from this tradition. Not everywhere but going on.
