Vanshaj is a story on who will get the chairmanship of the company that is Mahajan Groups, the main theme of the show is what should be the criteria of being an heir, you should be a son or you should be eligible. And the plot is like there are families of 2 sons of Mahajan’s and one son (Dhanraj) is the CEO and his son is DigVijay ( who was brought up with the idea that he is the sole heir of the Mahajan’s Group) as the second son prem left the family because someone falsely accused him of raping his secretary (this was revealed later on) but he knew that this happened because someone from the family did not want him to be the CEO which he was before leaving so he left the company with his wife and daughter and DigVijay (DJ) had no idea about this uncle of him so he thinks that he is the rightful heir and his mother has fit this notion into his mind, fast forwarding, prem has 3 children and yuvika is his eldest daughter, she did not know about her father being a Mahajan so she got hold of her birth certificate in which yuvika Mahajan was written and she questioned her parents about this after which prem gets a minor attack and the hospital staff was not treating him and his family well so his wife Bhumi contacted Mahajan’s and then the elder brother of Prem, Who is his step brother and is current chairman of the company, BhanuPratap aka DadaBabu helps them and bring them to Delhi from Rishikesh where they were living before the accident happened. But under mysterious circumstances prem died and tells yuvika that she is his vanshaj, but his family came back to Rishikesh after his death because prem felt they were in danger and he warned Bhumi that she should not stay there if she wants their kids to be safe (obviously before his death) but then yuvika gets to know about this fake charge on her father and came back to Delhi to prove his innocence and there she gets to know from a reporter that someone from the family leaked this news and she would find clues in the office but the problem was Mahajans never allowed a girl from their family to work but Yuvika got this opportunity and was searching for clues, but all this happening made DJ insecure so he framed yuvika and DadaBabu through an AV which was shown in their 75th anniversary and this made DadaBabu to resign, this is the story till yesterday’s episode.

And about Main leads then yuvika is the protagonist and DJ, antagonist. DJ has a wife whom he was forced to marry but he loved someone else and so he is in EMA with her and both his wife and GF knows this and is okay with it. Now come to yuvika, she has fiancée Karthik who was their neighbour in Rishikesh but this was arranged by her father and now there is this guy who would be yuvika’s love interest and he is Neil, he is the son of the legal advisor and right hand of DadaBabu who hates Mahajans but is in love with yuvika.

Now the interesting stuff is the parallels this show and Mahabharat has, Neil is kind of modern Krishna who has this mysterious aura around him and guides yuvika and has a habit of suddenly appearing and disappearing about which we have zero idea, then yuvika is the modern version of Pandavas (kunti’s three sons), DJ is Duryodhan, Dhanraj is Dhritraashtra and DadaBabu is Bheeshma who did not marry so that his children won’t fight with his step brother and their family for inheritance. And if you love or intrigued by Mahabharat then there is no way you are going to dislike it and if you don’t then also this is a good story which do not mainly focus on love life of the leads but on the struggles of getting the chairmanship. The story has only started, we don’t know who is the villain at one point you will think that he or she is the villain and next second you will be like May be this person is not the villain, everything is predictable yet so unpredictable in the show

It is good but at present, I want to watch something which has love hate relationship between the main couple. When I read the post about Yuvika and DJ, I thought that they are the main couple and they have love hate relationship.

and about a relationship between main couple then they are building it very slowly, Neil is in one sided love for now and yuvika is in love with the idea of being in love with her fiancé😳
