Look just because Meryl Streep is white doesn't mean we need to worship the ground she walks in.. we need to uplift our own south east asian talent doing oscar worthy acting in our own productions.. look i watched Downton Abbey and i can't imagine Yumna not being able to do that role when she is older like 50 years from now..

She is still light skinned. Photos during that time made everyone look a shade or two darker. The lighting and everything matters. Now there are better cameras and better makeup that makes actors look better.
