It would look really wrong if they make Akshara pregnant and have Abhira reunion. They need to choose one between the two, RS confirmed Abhira reunion so why would they make Akshara pregnant. That seems so wrong- just because Abhinav took care of Abhir, doesn’t mean now Abhi should take care of Abhinav’s kid. Like what is this exchange parallel track. Akshara and Abhi already have their son and all this mess- they need to first learn to coparent healthily for their son before introducing another kid between these two take care of.
