I do follow him to see yeh banda kitne niche girsakta hai. He takes sly digs on other without any reason. He came in Shark Tank 2 and his pitch was so vague. But he went to twitter and took digs at Namrata and Anupam without any reason lol.

I didn't have tickets either. But I am a verified fan, so I got it through the lottery. That did confuse me because I never purchased anything from her website. š
I think theater shows are usually the right vibe. Just enough people who know all the words to make it a mood, and still small enough so you can see the artist.Small clubs are also nice, but you can only get the really obscure acts that way. I saw Christian Hutson at the tiniest venue with like a 100 people, a couple of months ago. It was so intimate. š
You may have had Spotify streams. I am salty because I have bought merch from the site. š
I have been to tiny venue performances because friends were performing. I like going to standup performances. I've seen Marc Maron, Chris Hardwick, Wanda Sykes, Margaret Cho, and most recently Tina and Amy.
Artist merch is usually horrible and I would never pay those egregious shipping charges. šOriginally posted by: return_to_hades

Stand-up in person has never been my thing. I did shell out quite a bit to see Seinfeld earlier this year though. Kinda worth it.
The T-shirts are usually cheap. But the hoodies, sweatshirts, and sweaters have been decent.
But merch has perks beyond verified fans. An Amtrak bartender made me triple-shot mixed drinks because we bonded over my reputation shirt. I went to a professional development seminar and it was wild how many people came and spoke to me because of my Midnights sweater.
