wonder when they started vilifying abortions in India. It was always considered okay due to high population.

Vilifying abortion has always being a Christian thing. Christians are totally against abortion so much that my Christian colleague felt highly disgusted because another colleague just asked a 3rd colleague that why she didn't go for abortion if she had not planned her pregnancy.

Lagnachi Bedi on star pravah is such a weird show. There the girl who was in a relation with the ML, married his cousin brother (dont know why) but later the ML married the FL.

Now the said cousin got murdered and the girl think the FL murdered him, though everyone knows its not true. But she has promised revenge.

Now due to all the stress FL falls down the stairs (typical solution for unwanted pregnancy) had a miscarriage. And for some reason cannot conceive again. So they plan to go for surrogacy.

In this too the ML's aunt wants to poke her nose. Firstly she is against surrogacy and says if they go for it then only the other girl will be the surrogate mother........ She doesnt care that the FL doesnt want that as the girl has a history with the ML...

Indians always showed this through media. The main reason India has abortions is because of female infanticide.

Films have been doing this( salaam namaste, kya kehna, tere sang)

Tv shows did it. Ajunhi barsaat ahe, Kahiin toh hoga. They show girls going for suicide instead of abortion or safe sex.

In fact the ONLY time I saw abortion as a normal thing is in an English show, Sex Education on Netflix.

They normalised it and showed it as real and also the after part.
