That is a very very low number and really sad too. But right now everyone on the forum is busy trying to pass the movie as a hit so no one will admit it until January.

Yeah, the overseas audience will probably save it. Dharma still carries value there. JJJ did almost the same as Tu Jhooti overseas, despite much lower India business.

The domestic would be capped at 120 or so with this opening.

I think this definitely proves that old school BW movies can bring audiences to the theatre. rom com and mass entertainment is what drives business in the 6+ crore range but it they want bumper openings they need to have really good music. Idk why Karan missed the mark on the music, knowing music saved ADHM.

I had hoped better for Ranveer, because he was definitely giving better openings Pre pandemic. Infact the only two actors of the new gen giving decent openings are Kartik and Ranbir
