Why do they just kill everyone off

I never understood why they could of not just replaced Akshara and Naira..

Kundali Bhagya did a good job with that. They just classed them as older characters. Even the flashbacks are the other actors with Preeta.

They legit just killed off anyone who did not want to age. Akshu has legit no one. Not even a Mama.

Pandya store everyone is dead. Ghum Kiski everyone is dead. Yeh Hai Chahetin same.

Just replace them and get someone older.

I agree..change the entire cast ..

What's.left of abhira ? With abhir and ruhi, they need to manage the schools and mental health of children for uploading kaands. Not do sami sami in dreams.

Aise bhi how will it look now ? Akshara literally despise abhimanyu . Not only for those 6 yrs but snatching her son and most probably abhinavs death too. Unless she has a memory loss , no way she can go to abhim and if makers r planning "angsty" romance , this will be cringe max 😆

Till Kekta's dimension this went well. Actors didn't mind aging, heck imagine Kratika Sengar playing daughter of Jennifer Winget😭

Actors not willing to age were replaced - Kasam Se and Pavitra Rishta ! And most importantly even post leap story tended to continue focusing on first leads and their journey... Their journey as parents.... Their journey as grandparents, their journey as great grandparents as long as it can be dragged.

But this show! This show started the trend of killing the characters with new generation.... Initially, they established new generation by keeping original cast intact... Once new generation found the base, they were happy to 'Let go' original leads... It was quite successful as stunt that Ekta started following it with Kumkum Bhagya... Then Yeh Hai Chahatien...

Now coming to important aspect.. Not even waiting to establish new generation is a new thing... Again was it started with this show or was that Udaariyaan? Or Imlie? All these shows followed each other after one was successful...

And it's brutal killing/death of the leads.. Actually bought Trps! Heck Ghum had literally shot in last week of SaiRat... Matlab... That's how it's becoming trend... And very bad one!

Trends can be changed though, it's just about someone doing something different. When viewers see the same stuff happening in all shows it becomes boring.

And you don't have to kill people to make drama. Death can be a great device in shows to create story but it has to make sense. Half of this stuff doesn't even make sense. They aren't thinking about the overall story but focusing too much on the mircro aspects of it. LIke how to sustain TRPs weekly instead of staying true to the story in a way that it sustains it.
