Abjectly shoddy performance with the bat from West Indies. 7 wickets for the spinners and the hosts have lasted just 23 overs. And Kuldeep was only introduced in the 19th over. Imagine had he come on earlier. After being sent in, Mayers played a wild hack to give his wicket away but King and Athanaze looked to stabilise the innings till the latter went to a sharp catch at backward point. Shardul got a straight ball through King's defence to bring Hetmyer into the middle. Hetmyer and Hope had a huge task on their hands, a poor shot by the former led to the opening of the floodgates. The pitch was assisting spin and Rohit smartly realised that and kept attacking fielders in catching positions. Jadeja took 3 and once Kuldeep came on, the innings just nosedived.India did not even have to try hard during their bowling - shows how poor West Indies were. Excellent catches being taken helped the visitors. We will be back for the chase in 25 minutes as there is an innings break. Again don't understand the reasoning behind that. Anyway see you soon...

11.34am India have spun West Indies out here, with Kuldeep and Jadeja combining to take seven wickets. West Indies batters had no answers for the spinners, and with Mukesh, Hardik and Shardul striking early as well, it was a complete performance from India.

Kuldeep Yadav: "First of all, the fast bowlers did really well. Got early wickets. The ball was spinning a bit and we tried to focus on our lengths. Wind was too much so we were controlling our speeds as well. To be very honest, I've been working on my rhythm in the last two years. My rhythm wasn't very well last year, but now it's coming out very well. Of course the increase in pace… With the same spin, drift, it's very difficult for the batters to read. Especially in white-ball formats, I am focusing on the lengths and not on taking wickets. It depends on the conditions and situation. When they were five down, you have chances to try everything. Also important to mix up variations. If a left-hander comes in, you mix up some wrong'uns so they are not sure. That was my plan, to mix up my pace, lengths and variations. The wicket was very good for spinners, the way Jaddu bowled and I bowled just three overs."

What to say... WI are all out for mere 114!

It will be a cakewalk for Team India.

Let's see.

ODI cricket continues to be a sore point for West Indies, who have now posted their second-lowest ODI score against India and joint-third lowest ODI total at home. and now they have a mammoth task in front of them. Join us in around half an hour for the chase.

Kuldeep Yadav: The way the pacers bowled was really good, Mukesh and Shardul in particular. And then Jadeja and I could handle things, the ball was spinning a bit. We had to control our lengths and the wickets were easy to get. I have been working on my rhythm and it has been amazing. The ball is coming out nicely and I’m very pleased with it. I have also been varying the pace and in the white-ball format, my focus is on hitting the right lengths. (On bowling googlies) Depends on the condition and situation, when they were 5 down I could bowl my variations. When the left-hander came in, I was trying to bowl away from him. To be very honest, I felt this wicket was really good for spin.
