I think that part is on hold for now cuz Abhir is fully focused on his mom.....they will bring back Abhirmanyu bonding post Nav's exit I feel....right now Abhir has been burdened with too many shocks and traumas to think about Abhi. His full focus is on the fact that his mom is ill and he needs to go to her.

They didn't show Abhir trying to call Sharmas today. Instead, they showed Nav considering calling Abhimanyu to ask him to bring Abhir to Kasauli for a bit for Akshara's sake😆.....but then Nav decided against it eventually cuz he thought Abhi might refuse🤔😆...... basically they just showed him all confused and indecisive today.....lol
