Yes this was quite a big thing and esp for more more standard programming. Pythons Linda of replaced this now.

I remember best game shows were from 90s and early 2000s before desi TV was totally taken over by garbage saas bahu shows.

I miss Ek Minute, Saanp Seedhi, Antakshri, Takeshi's Castle, Splat, Figure it out, Wipeout, Mastermind, Bournvita Quiz Contest, Pictionary.

I miss Home TV and shows like Amma and Family starring Zohra Sehgal.

MasterMind was good. There was The generation game and The price is right and The card game by Bruce.
