Turns out the answer to that is NO. Pawandeep had written, composed and sung Maula pre Idol. Just that it has been sung by Arunita now and released on Musiq Pie label.

hmm. Kind of remake of the song. However the alap at the end in Arunita's song is the new addition.

It seems it could have been a duet. Probably that is for the next release. 😆

Yes. The basic composition/ tune is the same but the arrangement i.e. the instrumentation is different. And yes Arunita's aalaap. I really think Pawandeep is properly learning about aalaap and sargam only in the last couple of years 🙂
