That is the problem in reality as well. Sometimes grandparents spoil the kid so much parents shift to other places / city to have proper upbringing for the kid. I saw this for my cousin brother. I strongly took a stand for my SIL as I know my aunt was overboard with the kid. At the same time, my MIL was always been discussing kids school issues, other problems with us. So it in on the parent how they want to resolve. AbhiM has to take a step, Doctors do take sabatical and leave for their family. He was in Kasauli for a month. But may be at that Abhir was not with him legally.I agree for most part. I m going to add about Manjari a bit. She needs to be told about her limitations as a grandmother. Practically, with kid’s parents being alive, school should never discuss to a dropping off -dadi about kid’s behavioral changes. They should contact mother/father. For all they know, she is a nanny dressed up in glittery clothes. Abhimanyu definitely needs to sit and talk to his mother about her rights and limitations.
