Let's talk how u all got to know abt show,when did u start watching it and what was your initial opinion regarding Dev ,Vidhi and their chemistry
I will tell mine.i was not a regular viewer and used to watch some episodes in between.My initial opinion was that I found Vidhi dumb and was curious to know how their love story will proceed.i liked khau gali episode a lot.i liked Dev's character which was quite different and not like other ml
The promos were quite good (pity they never really showed those in the real episodes)
I didn't watch the very initial episodes, but probably from the point where Vidhi returns Dev's ring in the office.
Even I found Vidhi to be dumb initially (she felt like an early 80's or 90's FL instead of a 2020's one), and I thought the episodes where Dev helped her come out of her shell (the exam preparations, the coffee order) were quite nice to watch.
I wanted to watch the journey (although I didn't have much expectations due to this being ITV). Unfortunately, they skipped the journey and went to Vidhi falling in love immediately (just because of one Khau Galli date- which made it look like she fell for the first man who treated her relatively decently)
That was a bit of a let down, but I still watched because Dev was behaving relatively sanely. Then they made him fall in love too, and rushed straight to marriage, and I called it quits then because all ITV soaps go down the drain after marriage. Of coursem thanks to some wonderful folks on this forum, I kept tabs on what was going on and the storyline in general, but it never really reached a point where I felt I should watch the serial again.
It might be a contrary opinion to many on the forum, but I actually liked Amba's characterisation in the early episodes (there's an episode where she's completely cool with Vidhi's crush on Dev). Of course, this being ITV, grey can't be grey- it has to be straight up black so that the viewer doesn't have any moral ambiguity as to whom to support.
Relative pros- Satyavati and Abhi not being negative characters, Dev, Bims, early Amba. BG Music
Cons- HP (very toxic dad I thought), story skipping the gradual falling in love process completely.

Man se bura lagata hai...... Dono itne achche actors...... Having a true age gap...... but had such wonderful chemistry....... but completely wasted by pathetic writing and worst story tracks...... Yeh Jai ka Vidhi ko girawakar miscarriage karwana to height of negativity ho gaya.
