This is how an episode should be. I know, all episodes can't be like Kasauli episodes, but it should be good blend of toxicity and good vibes.

That was very well achieved in today's episode.

MJ: We no more can talk about MJ and her son using a sophisticated language. They both deserve all the curse words available in the world. 'ये दोनो तो अभिरको criminal करके ही मानेंगे '.

The way MJ manipulated Shefali was beyond words. But, shefali is equally responsible for not dialing AK after MJ left. She is a mother first, and understands the gravity of the situation, still she did not contact the AK in this matter.

MJ is doing every bad thing that she could do to Abhir.

AR: I have praised AR for becoming great mother post- leap. But, now I feel she was good pre- leap. She should hv retained her badass attitude at least, who said to AbhiM, that she is rejecting him before he can do so. If a patient is suffering, you have sympathy for him, you treat him and not fall in love with him or marry him. AR is repeatedly getting the same treatment that AK got when she was with AbhiM. She is witness to that and still she is doing the same mistake. I hv realized this post engagement itself, AR has got attached with AbhiM. She is trying to be his partner/ companion in spite him repeatedly shooing her away. KV had said the right thing, AR will never get the place in AbhiM's life that she deserves.

AbhiM: I am reemphasizing what I hv said before. From my POV, AbhiM is bigger evil than MJ. MJ is doing what she is doing for her son's happiness, so it is less selfish than what AbhiM is doing. AbhiM is ignoring all the wisdom words given to him by his wellwishers, he is ignoring Abhir's pain, continuing his obsession with Abhir even after knowing that Abhir is not happy with him. After the treatment he gave to AR by pulling her down the stairs to stop her from leaving, ignoring her and Ruhi's existence in Kasauli, the way he is repeatedly ignoring AR's suggestions, and disrespecting her, as again he did today, if people are excited for AbhiRohi, I would say they can watch Abhira episodes again. It is going to be repeat Abhira. Iske baad ek pal mein agar redemption digha diya toh..that would be just Yuck.

AK-AbhiN: After long time got a beautiful AkshNav scene. What I loved about it was, there was no romance in it. They hugged each other as two best friends do. That hug had a depth, it included the support of 6 years when no Goenkas were there with AK. It was not AK's achievement, it was AkshNav's achievement. AK became what she became in presence of AbhiN and Abhir is becoming what he is, due to AbhiM. AK's success and Abhir's failures were beautifully contrasted in a single episode. It showed how a presence and absence of an unassuming, not so educated driver does to people around him.

AbhiN could say he is proud of AK in English, without any flaw. I feel, he pretends to be stupid but he is not. Even previously he has mentioned that he was good at studies (marks अच्छे मिलते थे). Let's see if makers hv put these things intentionally and plan to use it in the future.

Abhir: Abhir is engulfed by the Birlas. What can help him come out of it? The first thing that is going to help him the most is him knowing the truth that his MaPa did what they did was a drama and they love him enormously.

One year: Leap or no leap, there are going to be 2 long distance relationship tracks coming up, if pre-cap is not misleading. One is of MK- KV and other is of Abhir- AkshNav. I think the parallel track is going to test the depth of the relationship. The Abhir- AkshNav relationship has the depth that MK- KV's relationship lacks at this point. Abhir-AkshNav relationship is now facing a turmoil, but will become stronger as the time passes whereas MK- KV is good now, but will struggle as time goes by.

Overall, a great episode for me. Hoping that Abhir would know the truth at the earliest, but may not be. Still we may have to bear seeing a junior obsessive narcicistic AbhiM, before we see some light at the end of the tunnel. I hope Abhir does not change that house to a good house. It just needs one treatment and that is destruction and abandonment. Ruhi has said that she is going to be with Masa- Masi the next time. I am hoping Ruhi gets to stay with AbhiN and find a father figure in him than in AbhiM.

I am baffled at how abhiM is not paying attention to abhirs schooling. He is shown postleap that he was super attentive with roohis school work. Abhir tho in his own words is going through a huge change; the least he can do is ensure that he keeps an eye on his schooling.

he really compared his and his family’s struggles to the struggles that his 6 year old son is facing. No way that they’re the same! And he has the power to put an end to his son’s misery but he’s choosing not to.

I said it in another thread also . Why is he so clueless when he knows everything? Arohi has been telling him, akshara too, abhir is in pain, what's with this self pity all the time ? He emphasizes his haq on abhir and that it was mahadevs icha that abhir comes to him so why isn't mahadev making abhir happy? Till the time he comes out of I Me myself my momma mode , he won't reach out to abhir nor will abhir pull down the walls.

Mummy is insecure mummy lost so much in life so she must have abhir ? What shitty logic is this? Did he fight the custody case to win abhir for manjari and apparently manjari did to for abhimanyu. If both are victims and both r innocent , who is to be blamed ?

Baap hoon baap hoon uska toh baap bano na. Being a single parent, shifting all his responsibilities to his mother and giving time to his profession, how will he manage , did he not think it through ? There is no excuse , abhir is miserable and abhim and his mummy are responsible.

I am still mad at akshnav for breaking the boys heart like this unnecessarily. I really only feel bad for abhir I can’t watch the kids scenes , he is so lost and unsure of his place.

Any thoughts of the Akshnav scene where Abhinav gives Akshu the bag and the way they looked at each other when she came downstairs? There has been several comments on twitter appreciating the scene :)

Maan liya akshnav failed as parents. Why didn't abhim succeed as a father ? 😕 in a situation where abhir is emotionally distant from his mamma papa , he should reach out to abhim correct?

it is like abhinav akshu have served the opportunity to abhi on a platter.....and fir bhi he is failing as a dad!

I can't believe people still want AbhiM and Ak to be together. It makes me sick that they can't see how toxic that relationship is.

And I'm just thinking, is this how people in real life push others back into hell, just cause they look good together on the surface or they're married?

Why is it so hard for people to accept that a character has moved on with another person, and if they can't accept it in a character, where we are shown all facets of a person, how do they accept it in real life?

There is still the mindset that women should stay single and pine for the man even if he's a jack*** or his family is toxic.

And I don't understand what this show is trying to portray, either. It was based on the idea of families and relationships, but all I've seen is toxicity increasing.

I've seen gaslighting here, emotional abuse, and mental abuse, without any of them being addressed as that, and now it's essentially showing child neglect and bullying without really addressing that either.

AbhiM character is written to be so weak, I just can't. Just because you're a good person at heart doesn't mean you can't be absymal in relationships. His blind loyalty to his mother is just one of the problems with him. He also doesn't want to confront real issues, he only treats the superficial ones.

I couldn't agree more with your analysis so well written. The complexity of the characters and their dynamics makes the show interesting. MJ's manipulative tactics are distressing, and it's frustrating to see Shefali not take the necessary steps after seeing through MJ. AR's character change is indeed a mixed bag; but her post-leap empathy, albeit misplaced, does show growth.

Your perspective on AbhiM being a bigger evil than MJ is thought-provoking. AbhiM's obsession with Abhir is certainly unhealthy, and I too fear it's only going to escalate into more troubling behavior. The AkshNav scene was indeed a breath of fresh air, their bond is something that gives this show its heart.

I also hope the upcoming tracks delve into the depths of the relationships you've mentioned. Seeing the contrast between Abhir-AkshNav and MK-KV will be interesting, and I'm hoping for growth in all the characters. Here's to hoping we get to see the truth revealed soon and Abhir finding his way out of the Birlas' clutches. The prospect of Ruhi finding a father figure in AbhiN instead of AbhiM is something I'm eagerly anticipating.
