I think Mahavir said sorry of sorts after driving the sword (not sure though), but they're Royals and Chikitsak babu is only a middle-class doctor 😔

Also mildly interesting- when the order to remove Senapati's turban and sword were given, the person who carried out the order was Mahavir (probably the only person bigger than Senapati in the court), and not any of the soldiers. Again slightly fascinating class dynamics at play.
