Hey all this is a neutral question not from the show's perspective. I really want to know how does Co-Parenting actually work?

Do children from broken homes really suffer this bad or in reality they get to spend time with their mom and dad as and when they wish to?

Also if one of the parent is remarried , what could b the complications?

One of my distant cousin is divorced. She coparents her 7 year old with her husband. Kid stays with dad becos my cousin was emotionally not in a good place to take care of him and my uncle suggested for the kid to be with his dad and grandma. There is a whole lot of hatred between the couple but weekend visitations, wedding attendances etc happened with father dropping off the kid. I don’t really know their private life but dad and son moved to Europe and my cousin posts insta pictures of her son, her new bf and seems to have generally made peace with the situation. Kid doesn’t look too sad either with both parents.

My best friend is divorcee, she was pregnant during her divorce days but she didn’t hide it from the child’s father. It was long distance relationship and didn’t work out for them. It was messy but they have joint custody of child. Both are settled in mumbai only and no restrictions for any of parents. Child has full freedom to stay at any of parent’s home and parents have also developed harmony in between them post divorce. No tantrums no grudges nothing. They have nothing to do with each other. Both are unmarried now and looking for a new partner in arrange marriage setup through matrimonial sites.

Their child is happy and leading content life.

Yes! Coparenting is never fun if u don’t like ur ex partner. U will have to generally hold ur tongue before accusing the other party in front of the child. I salute anyone who can have that level of zubaan pe lock in order to avoid portraying the other parent in bad light. It takes volumes of healthy understanding to get to that stage for the sake of child. 😊

My niece got a child from her boyfriend. She conceived before marraige but somehow her boyfriend who was a German refuse to get married. My niece decided to keep the child, her boyfriend agreed to be there if she needed any support. My niece was a single mother for 7 years. The bio dad used to visit the kid in between. He never wanted any custody or so. My niece is now married to a French. They are settled in France. The kid is very fond of her mom and happy. He has a cordial relationship with her step dad and bio dad. My niece has a daughter too with her current husband. For precaution, the child has a counselor to assess his mental health, and he so far is a happy and healthy child.

yeah it was quite difficult for her as she went to Germany for the wedding and she was waiting for her BF to come but he never turned up just called her to call off the marriage we advised her to abort but she was stubborn my sister did not support her initially but ultimately did being an unmarried mom is so difficult Her sons name is Krish and he is so adorable I cannot tell you
