I think writer is finally going the track where it was originally planned ,they showed Abhira had exchanged their behaviour post leap an episode were also shown Akshara behaves like old Abhimanyu and Abhimanyu like old Akshara, and they kept akshara like that as her old,hurt,anger,is supressed and it comes out like this only with abhimanyu as her expectations were only with him,
