I was quite scared that they'd show Dimple getting badly abused and taunted by TamaShahs because of their regressive notions
Somehow the makers made it more unpleasant by portraying it as Dimpy 's non adjusting behaviour influenced by Barkha (problematic portrayal again) rather than the regressive notions of the Shahs.
A lot of your post holds true even today and I was surprised to see that you had written it as far back as Dec. Very well observed 👍🏼
Yaar this forum was soo fun in December I remember silently reading all the hilarious trolling back then the show was funny due cause of the Tamashahs kya din the woh 😆

Thanks for reading. Makers' obsession with shameless shahs and trying to whitewash and glorify them has really impacted the lead character and consequently the show. Unable to take anything seriously now and it's more or less a caricature. Had suggested months back to change the format as well to one featuring the Tamashahs as the mainstay 🤣
