Of course, point of views differ but that's okay, no?

So, it's okay to have another opinion about SRK's acting, right?

And whatever this actress thinks about SRK's acting can not negate the fact, that his acting brought him more succes then her acting to her, right, too.

If she thinks, that only marketing skills gave SRK the position he has, I can't take her serious but regard her as attention seeking...and obviously mentioning SRK still gets at least that...attention 😉

He was never called overactor. He has done all sorts of roles well and was guru of many other actors be it Amitabh, Dharam, Rajesh Khanna, SRK himself etc.

He was better known for tragedy roles but it does not mean he was monotonous.

Today his films are dated and that style of acting is considered theatrical or less natural.

But at that time only he, Ashok Kumar, Balraj Sahni, Guru Dutt focused on nuances of body language, voice, diction.

Today we have more natural or relatable style of acting so modern audience may feel DK had no charisma or glamour or his style is dated or boring.

Chalo forget DK. Even Naseer, Om, Nawaz, Aamir, Saif, Hrithik, Manoj, Sanjay Dutt, Ajay are better actors than SRK. That is a fact that SRK is a severely limited actor and has literally 3 or 4 films which can be said to have some serious acting chops or depth or some different versatile role.

SRK remains SRK in each film. The man has never become the character and got under skin of characters he plays. CDI is the the only film where he became the character and let go of his typical mannerisms and style.

sanjeev kumar clears every1 IMHO

only kamal hasan might come close to him

Clear signs of why BW is regressing when the face of mediocrity is worn as the badge of honor.

It's scary to see people say such stuff because forget onscreen, the disgusting stuff that he has said and done on a personal level makes me wonder where the society is heading or maybe you are turning a blind eye on it, fanaticism. 🤢

Okay, dear, we get it that you vehemently dislike SRK...so what?

But why dislike those who like SRK, even feel love for him and are loyal to him as long as they aren't disrespectful towards you?

There isn't only fanatism in liking SRK that exists but also the one in disliking him, right? So, what about the latter fanatism?

So this is what Mahnoor is saying that SRK markets himself well.

He has hyped himself, sells his personal life sob stories, love story, family story etc which makes him relatable.

So why will audience not feel a connect to him?

SRK also meets fans regularly or does concerts and shows, more in comparison to other actors.

This is why people are bound to feel more connected to him compared to other recluse type stars like say, Aamir, Ajay etc.

SRK liberally lives in public, for public and has made his whole life public. He is the first star to throw open gates of his house to fans and media.

Obviously connection will be deeper.

Besides his films hardly challenge status quo, they are more traditional, respect hierarchy, have heroes and heroines vying for approval of parents, in laws etc and also offer safe expression of desire and lust in a repressed nation like India without being overtly vulgar, have songs and dances shot at foreign locations and actors dressed in finery. So why will he not have connection to masses looking for mindless timepass? His audience is the type that does not analyse acting or subject of film either and is superficial and does not look for anything deeper.

Liking or disliking is not an issue here. SRK has many skeletons in his closet like his colleagues. I guess you either don't know them or turning a blind eye.

His PR and the media tries to clean up his image and on top of it he has fanatics who swarm all over social media.

I would certainly not wear any of them including him as a badge of honor or call them as my idol.

Try googling all his old controversies/ acts which we have seen and you won't find much . He monitors them surely. Compare that to other actors and you will find all controversies they were involved in on google. This was brought to my notice here which I found to be true.

Arindam controversy or using Irfan's illness and spread false rumors of helping him to portray himself as some kind of a magnanimous person are not there on google now compared to when these controversies occurred.

All these were discussed with articles/ facts , twitter media proofs are nowhere to be found on google.

I entirely agree Sanjeev Kumar saab was iconic. Kamal Haasan is also a complete institution of cinema in himself and someone born for cinema given his passion for acting and versatility, various departments of cinema.
