I think she is saying about Bheeshm aka Bhanu.

In his promo Bhanu says that maine is kursi ki hamesha raksha ki hai lekin kabhi baitha nhi

I don't think shubbadra has that kind of connections , if she had indeed did this 20 years ago she would've been eternally guilty about the ramofications of her actions and would've completely broken down seeing Prem but Miss - I'm - better - than -you was so busy cribbing about family traditions and drinking red wine...so i don't think it's her....or it can be her and she's that good at hiding her emotions 🤷

I dont think Shobhana really loves Bhanu. He is more kind of shelter for her children for her.

Swastik hates Satyawati to core, Mahabharat had made her a vamp who always attached Bheeshm and Vidur, so Shobhana being shown in such shades doesn't surprise me.

From what's shown till now, Mahajan group is 75 years. Bhanu's father could have started humble, later grown business by the time Bhanu started working, both father-son for years could have diversified into many sectors before Dhanraj, Prem & Subhadra turned adults & made into big Mahajan group.

After his father's death seems Bhanu aka Dada babu was Chairman of Mahajan group board with Prem as young CEO. So 'maine is kursi pe kabhi baita nahi' in pre-launch promo is misleading.😛

Had Bhanu married at right time, his children & grand children would have got FIRST chances to fight for business inheritance, where as step mom Shobana's children & grand children might have got just share in family wealth & business being Mahajan's, that's it.

After Prem left from Delhi 20 years back, Dhanraj as male heir became CEO with Bhanu as Chairman. Now he & Gargi have strong desire to somehow get spoilt brat son Dj declared as heir or next CEO of group. This also means Dhanraj aspires to be elevated as next chairman of group, when Bhanu takes retirement?😳 while Bhanu can continue as a board member till he wishes, being a strong share holder.

Here Bhanu as Chairman has clear apprehensions on Dhanraj's capability to be next Chairman or Dj to be next CEO, so he is still actively working & worried for group future.😔
