But if you have a domestic violence case no bahu will be allowed to stay with the in laws by officials. So right now no sane person would stay , they would not be allowed to, parents would be called to take their daughter back.

Parents can kick out if you are adult but that also needs court order.

Angad himself wanted to kick her out right after marriage. Legally he is not allowed to, husband has to get court order to evict wife from matrimonial home , right to stay in matrimonial home is protected under Dv act.

But it is advised to leave marital home if in laws torture you because in real world, women end up dead or at the very least in a hospital and need therapy.

In television world of course they take up challenges and prove everyone wrong and take every torture and come out alive only to die when makers want to take gen leap.

another thought - there are a lot of law references but no culture. So traditionally women actually have no home of their own. the modern law is creating some rules to protect them.

In fact I wouldn’t even be surprised if Bebe supported sahiba, darji asking her to go back to her parents/brothers home. So technically Bebe also has no home

Yes but itv is most nonsensical representation of anything. You are taught to stay with people who abuse you and try to change their mind , you will get your happy ending. In real world, you better pack your bags , get a restraining order and run because you might not live to see the next day.

Pati ka ghar is actually your ghar, he cannot kick you out unless he gets court order, police ki lathi padegi agar nikal diya to.

Pita ka ghar, you can stay till 21 years post which they can evict you with a court order which is granted if you are financially stable and are causing trouble in your own house and all.

Bebes house is Brar mansion. Daarji cannot kick her out, nahi toh jo jail se nikle waapis ghusa denge police.

There is a famous proverb 'A woman has no home and no surname'

Culture has always treated women as sub humans. Women have to leave their house and adjust to in laws rules. They have to accept in laws as family, put them over their own self esteem and career.

In the show itself, you see a clear difference in how Angad is treated by his in laws versus how Sahiba is treated.

Although this is a very long debate and the show we are watching romanticizes very inhuman tropes , talking about women's or wife's rights with regards to this show would be a joke, most of the female characters in the show are miserable.

Sahiba offered to go back to store room and am glad Angad did not stop her because She needs to come back right royally into that room with all her rights back and with the brars accepting her status and position… Angad would want that too for his wife and that is why he is right in not asking her to stay …

Angad taking one of sahiba’s dupatta ,hiding it from his mother and not letting the doriyaan be removed from the bed was 😍😍😍Am Waiting for Sahiba to remove the doriyaan ki dooriyaan herself 😍😍😍

#sahan scenes are beautiful …really hope they keep this profundity and depth and continue to give us such beautiful sequences

I saw the episode again, here angad looks upset when sahiba said she wants to go to Store room and she is giving in to Darji requests again she took a decision for them, yesterday only Sahiba requested not to sign Divirce papers asked him to be with her and trust her on this matter angad accepted it.. He didn't even think he has to answers his family he just left means end of the discussion it's his and Sahiba ‘s I really liked it yesterday CV Handles that scene..

why again she took the Decision for them?? That's why Anagd looks upset. She didn't do any mistakes, she doesn't need to go to the store room. Let's see I really want her to come wholeheartedly and for them, as Angad's Wife.. not for others.

Let's see maybe we will get closure for this they have to be in this together. I hope CV Shows continuity from now onwards.
