Nostalgia is the major factor for hype . Plus the marketing team leaving no stone unturned to project it as movie of the year. Oppenheimer in contrast has dull marketing. The opening projection shows that.
Both the movies cater to different sets of audiences. I hope both do well. Bit partial towards Oppenheimer though 😉

Barbie is still pretty huge. Ppl go thru the process of turning themselves plastic, inspired by barbie.
They could have chosen a younger, better looking actress for the role.
She owns a pink Berry hat. Now that is a must have. 😍

Movie otherwise looks Okay. Not pulling my heat strings to watch it desperately.

It’s very well done but I find it too simple for a five year old. Kids’ rooms should be a little whimsical IMO. But I suppose it also depends on the child!/ personality.

If you completely work that to the T. Then it's actually looks very boring. So best yo use own imagination and work your own style. That's what I did.

I know that barbie is huge but look at the story (saying this to audience) they're ripping off the Lego movie's story like ceo wants to demolish a toy and at the end he became nice after Emmet explains everything to president buisness this will same happen for Barbie btw I hope this movie flops harder like elemental (no offense to the barbie cast and crew)
