That's so true, living life for the sake of living, buying car or something then sweat out to repay the loan all feels like a vicious cycle.

have you realised our life is becoming controlled by the society and government!
3-24 - study24-death - work
seriously thatâs it to life!
If you ask anyone the basic of A-B! They wonât be able to answer!
Sad life.
Allah didn't give us life to be a robot!
we r intelligent being! We made the society! Itâs not other away around!
Sometime I wish to escape and live in a farm land and just enjoy life

Same issue in the USâŚeven immigrant families. So many folks in the second generation here, and their kids, are on all kinds of anxiety and depression meds. My husbandsâ siblingsâ families⌠the kids are grown up and successful on paper⌠miserable depressed sad lives in reality. They canât handle real life well. And if they have to do their laundry one weekend their minds are đ¤Ż!!!

One of my uncle's daughter went to Boston for her higher studies and then COVID happened and she couldn't find job for a long time. She was struggling, went into depression and none could help her and she was all alone there...We all tried to bring her back to India but the girl didn't listen and was adamant on finding a job there itself..
Later on,she hanged herself in her apartment
Imagine the plight of the parents..she was their only child..
It's been so many days since I have seen you.
Yes starting from 10th July.
Sera,
Did they open barsaatein forum?
I don't know all that(IN BOLD) it was provided by my company back then, sadly I left the job very soon, because I got married and left to US.
But chennai was very safe for a young girl to go out at night, bus transport very cheap, going to parrys corner, pondy bazaar, marina beach, are some of my beautiful nostalgic memories.
Ohh accha .
When I stayed in Chennai, I used to go to tuition and I would travel alone with my another girl friend in bus at night. So yeah Chennai is safe especially at nights
Ohhhhh that is so so heartbreaking. That is my biggest fear for my kids. My focus in raising my kids, especially after the covid pause, is allowing them to develop real life skills and emotional and mental resilience, equally and as crucially as academics and sports. I want them to be self-sufficient and successful, but also not living in misery when they achieve what they wanted.
A big complaint amongst the second generation here is that they got to the place their parents wanted them⌠spent their whole life getting thereâŚand hey then feel empty.

Agree a relative of ours is having a similar situation and thankfully all of us relatives living abroad are pooling up money to repay their loans, been paying school fees to the kids. It's unfair if we ask them to send their kids to a less expensive schools only because we are helping.

One of my uncle who lost his job during COVID had lots of financial crisis.Bht still he was adamant about sending his children to international school even if it meant taking loan...Those kids were just 2nd or 3rd std i think..
I can't believe people are actually spending lakhs together of donation just for kg and primary schools..
Lol
