here here...darcy was a man who though did a mistake made sure he becomes a better man when they meet next. and once that fact is established, he stood with her come what may (even at the chance that she might not feel the same for him) its very hard to portray him in ITV world. they wont get the glaring character of FD. they dont get 'normal' males in indian society too..kaha unko darcy samazh aayega

thats why these days i am reading fanfictions about pride and prejudice..my faith in mankind gets restored when i meet various versions of Darcy in these FFs

Darcy technically wasn't very wrong in my opinion. Mrs. Bennett and the youngest two sisters were very very off putting. Vulgar even. It's just that Jane, Lizzy and Mr. Bennett were different. But back in that time, the family connection mattered, more than the individual themselves. Darcy broke that norm and chose to pursue Elizabeth despite her rather embarrassing family. And by pursue, I meant he rather hoped that one day she would come to like him and did his best to ensure her safety & happiness in the meantime. He didn't bulldoze her with his advances or gaslight her for not accepting him. Imagine the fits Angad would throw if there was an Wickham here 🤪🤪

Wickham se yaad aaya what happened to that guy who had impregnated Kiara by the way?🤔 They just forgot him since he cannot be an excuse to abuse Sahiba anymore?🤣

@ bold- i agree. he got too much on his plate at very young age. he had to think about Georgiana as well. plus he already had a case of trust breaking in form of wickham who was his close childhood friend. i am surprised he was still so civil 🤣. i might be voicing unpopular opinion but i find the initial Lizzy a bit full of herself.

arey wo jatin gayab hua..abhi kiara ka miscarriage hua for brars that's problem solved. they ahve a very patriarchal mindset. don't consider the ladies of the house as their equals. Kiara was packed off to London. whether she will be devastated, whether she will need emotional support in this situation is immaterial. Look at how they treat jassi for her divorce and sahiba ka treatment to we all can see
