It was indeed hilarious. The whole point of monologue was to show how he was right in filing for the custody and getting it but did not want to see Ak and, by extension, SHARMA ji in pain. It’s so oxymoronic and hypocritical that one can’t help but laugh at his DDP.

Manju is much better than this man. Atleast she'd realization of what winning/loosing a custody case meant; acknowledged that there's nothing they can do to ease the pain & did no overacting of takin a moral high ground. Her stand was & is clear that she's doin this for her son's happiness n haq.

But Dr. Birla is on another level.

The way he has & keeps on playing eternal victim is frustrating to watch now.

His 10 min long gyanvardhak speech to his to-be wife fell totally flat. Throughout that speech I was like : Man don't contradict yourself the very next minute atleast.

He went to the court to let Akshnav win.. Oh Wow so considerate of the great Dr. 👏

Okay, I realised that I have been posting in the CC thread because it was the topmost thread. I was going to write a rant in 'Welcome New Moderator' wala thread as well for the same reason but luckily realised in time. 😅 Apparently EDT thread doesn't have to be the first one in the Forum.

This track has made me more irritated than I realised. In which alternate Universe will Abhir not open the door for Abhinav? How is Abhinav suddenly comfortable with 'Muh Bole Papa' nonsense and no one contradicts him?

Abhimanyu, for whatever reasons, doesn't listen to AkshNav before Abhir's birth. Makes Roohi as his kid and becomes a parent anyway on losing his unborn 'kids'. Roohi loves him to pieces too. Meanwhile, Abhinav does everything that Abhimanyu was meant to do in an already very difficult pregnancy which got further complicated and for a traumatized woman who was not his wife. Abhimanyu learns sometime before Abhir's 6th Birthday that he is Abhir's Bio Dad and before Abhir's 7th Birthday, already has his custody. Yet, the makers chose to show Abhimanyu's POV than Abhinav's. 👏
