Btw, slightly off topic, but is there any precise significance/relevance to the marks the Maharaj, Yuvraj and Senapati have on their forehead (the third eye area)

The King and Mahavir have identical ones; the Senapati has a slightly different one.

If Senapati marries Tara, does the mark remain the same or change?

Probably because Ghum 1st gen was bowing out (also airs at 8pm), and their ratings soared to 2.3. Straight jump from 2.0 to 2.3 for them.

It's also affected the other 8pm soaps (for example NUKSH on SB has gone from 0.3 to 0.2 and Radha Mohan on Zee from 1.5 to 1.3)

I actually don't want TRPs to go too high as else they will start dragging the show unnecessarily like Pushpa Impossible. It's better to end the show in a timely and logical manner rather than dragging on for ages with irritating tracks.
