I agree. It is so confusing. Ok, feeling hurt that Abhir wants to find his real father might make sense since Abhinav has been shown an orphan who never looked for his roots, so maybe he would need a minute to realize that Abhir is allowed to have that question and answer. But the amount of breakdown he is having makes no sense. If he feared he will lose Abhir, Abhir already proved its not valid since he has known for a while and nothing has changed, so what's with the breakdown and toot jaenge .

Also, to be honest his insecurity makes no sense. Don't he know that Abhir loves him as much as he loves him. What about Akshara who keeps on saying they are a family and nothing will change it.

They did not give him any concrete reason to be this insecure to be honest

Him being insecure after Abhimanyu's accident made full sense, but right now, even with Manjari saying crap to him, Akshara has shown she cares for him as husband wife a lot of times and said so. He heard Akshara say Abhir knows Abhinav is not his real father, and yet, Abhir has shown no signs of changing in the last few days to Abhinav to prove he is gonna lose Abhir. Abhir has chosen Abhinav at every step, even with the expensive shoes situation and the cake. Abhinav loves when people praise him for Abhir's upbringing, something he deserves in partnership with Akshara, but he has no faith on that upbringing.

This is just another way of keeping Abhinav the center when Abhir should be, when it should be Akshara's test as a mother how she handles and explains a complicated scenario to her son.

To be honest he made sense to me till that time only. Ever since they have been to udaipur for surgery and back. I am not able to understand him. He was literally of no support for Ak during that time neither emotionally and financially.

And then this constant insecurity.
