Heh? Actresses are no longer allowed to complain about the lack of scripts about female friendships, because one time they tried to do something about it and the schedules didn't align?

Heck, I don't even think its the fault of the cast. Farhan could have easily swapped either Priyanka or Alia for another actress, if he wanted to make this. So it's probably some other reason like a lack of script or funding.

they need to make it happen and change the cast. move on to actresses who actually will make time for this movie

“actresses” are allowed to complain.
but not the “actresses” in their specific project, who had the opportunity, an a list director and production house funding it …..and still decided to let it all go due to a shift in their own priorities …

Projects like these involving multiple stars are anyway hard to come by and materialise and see the light of the day …(takht, ram lakhan remake that shetty wanted to make )

I’d have expected each of them to grab the opportunity with both hands ….and make it happen….it’s not like all of them are on a hiatus or completely become home bodies after marriage and babies….they just didn’t prioritise this project that’s all

Great. Now rename it Murde ki jaan khatre main so there’s some chance of revival

This is gonna sound wild but I genuinely think this was never gonna happen. They had a haphazard meeting and thought to ride on the steam of audience wanting more fun women centric movies. There was neither a script nor any production house backing this in the first place. Bunch of personal differences must have cropped up between the actresses as well and they decided to let it go altogether.
