There is this very slight doubt in my mind that this chap is known to Senapati and Rajpurohit.

There was this blink and miss smile I saw exchanged between the Maharishi and Senapati at one part in the episode.

Mahavir tried to interrupt the King during the announcement, but this Rishi had strategically placed interjections to stop him.

He also said to Mahavir that he knew about the latter's dream in Brahma Muhurta- I'd ordinarily say that would be the mark of this Rishi being real, but one can't ignore the fact there were servants present in the room when Mahavir asked Maharani whether Brahma Muhurta dreams come true or not.
